His career spans decades, featuring collaborations with some of the most renowned artists in the UK and beyond. With a deep passion for his craft, Maurice has performed alongside legends such as Lynden David Hall, Sona Jobarteh, Coolio, Courtney Pine, Jazz Jamaica, Errol Linton, Lemar, Carol Thompson, Janet Kay, and Aswad.

From 1998 to 2005, he played a key role in the UK’s R&B and soul scene, working with celebrated musicians and shaping the live music landscape. His versatility allows him to seamlessly transition between genres, from jazz ensembles to reggae and blues collectives.

Maurice’s work with Bukky Leo & Black Egypt has further solidified his status as an influential figure in African jazz fusion. He has also been a vital part of bands such as Dean Mark & The Reel Deal and collaborated with esteemed artists like Patrick Alan.
